I have had the
privilege the past two years to attend the Gooding County Fair and
Rodeo. One of the GREAT highlights of the Rodeo, is the precision
with which the music is utilized during the events. Jill Schrock is
probably the most gifted I have seen, or rather heard, in the many
rodeos that I attend. The way she has just the right music and sound
effects at the right time, no matter what the outcome for each
contestant, is simply phenomenal! Jill
has done the sound for the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo for the
last two years and has done an outstanding job for us in Pocatello.
The first year after the performance Jill and I got together to see
how we could improve the sound in our indoor domed venue. The
sound has always been difficult and we have had many complaints from
people about not being able to hear. This year Jill brought the
sound to a whole new level by being creative and making the necessary
changes. With more equipment and a new speaker pattern to make
this event sound like it should. Jill has always gone the extra
mile to help make our rodeo a great success. I would recommend
her sound company for any event you may have in mind that needs sound

For the past eight years, I have had the pleasure to work as the voice
of Powder River Rodeo Company while working side by side with Jill
Schrock and her family. Until Jill began her own sound business, I
provided the sound and music and under my direction, Jill ran the
productions. Having run sound and music myself for more than a decade,
knowing what worked and what didn't, I taught her everything I knew-
especially how to work with announcers to sell the entire production.
She is a quick study of timing and impressed me and many others from
the beginning. With her major market production style, Jill knows how
to play to the crowd, increase the Fun Factor, and leave them wanting
more. That has translated in increased crowds and profits for the
majority of her events. It is my pleasure to recommend Jill's Sound, operated by Jill Schrock, to any rodeo committee. As a 20 year veteran PRCA announcer I have learned that great sound is critical to any rodeo, and Jill is one of the best at providing that critical element. I worked with Jill this year at the Gooding County Fair and Rodeo in Gooding, Idaho, and it was one of the most enjoyable rodeos I have ever been involved in. Technically, her equipment was great. Musically the rodeo received rave reviews for what Jill had to offer. Personally, I found her to be one of the easiest people I have ever been asked to work with. The highest compliment I can pay to Jill is that I can't wait to work with her again. 2006 the Gooding Pro Rodeo decided to breathe new life into it's PRCA
rodeo and hired Jill as the sound tech. This turned out to be
one of our best decisions for an extremely successful rodeo.
Jill turned Gooding's normally dry crowds into one that can be

Powder River Rodeo Jill, I met
you last year during Bull Wars. I had just started working for
your grandfather. Anyway, my husband and I attended the rodeo
here Saturday and I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed
the music. You did an excellent job at keeping things fun and
exciting. You did a great job at music selection and the crowd
