I have had the privilege the past two years to attend the Gooding County Fair and Rodeo.  One of the GREAT highlights of the Rodeo, is the precision with which the music is utilized during the events.  Jill Franzen is probably the most gifted I have seen, or rather heard, in the many rodeos that I attend.  The way she has just the right music and sound effects at the right time, no matter what the outcome for each contestant, is simply phenomenal!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jill Franzen for the past 11 years at PRCA Rodeos and other events around the country. When her parents of Powder River Rodeo Co, hired me as their announcer in 1998, I was providing sound and music as well as announcing services. At a bull riding in Sydney, MT in 99’, I had nobody to run my music and as a teenager Jill stepped in and was a natural. Coming from a rodeo family and being directly involved in rodeo productions all of her life, she sees production points in the arena that most people out there miss. In 2006 the Gooding Pro Rodeo decided to breathe new life into it's PRCA rodeo and hired Jill as the sound tech.  This turned out to be one of our best decisions for an extremely successful rodeo.  Jill turned Gooding's normally dry crowds into one that can be described as "Crazy."
